Our Services
Nello Pistoresi & Son hauls Dry Vans, Reefers, Flat beds and Oversized Loads on the West Coast. Our drivers are the best in the business. They demonstrate reliable, safe driving skills, practice self-assessment to identify areas for improvement, as well as attend periodical safety courses with our Safety Manager.
History
A look back.
In 1929 Nello Pistoresi went in to trucking full time, specializing in hauling livestock. Nello ran the business solo for a decade. His son James (Corky) decided to join him in running the family business. In 1950 the business officially became Nello Pistoresi & son. Located in Toppenish Washington along the beautiful Yakima River. Nello Pistoresi & Son was once largest livestock hauler in the state. Nello Pistoresi & Son has been featured in 10-4 Magazine, www.tenfourmagazine.com "The First and Last times" by Trevor Harwick. This article talks about the deep connection between the past and the future of trucking. That is still important to Matthew Pistoresi, Corky's grandson, who runs the company today.
